Foundation of the School
Late R.A. Dubey, the father of Sri Shivanand Dubey (Manager) founded St. Xavier’s School, Azad Chowk, Rustampur, Gorakhpur, under the society “St. Xavier’s Shiksha Samiti, Mahuisugharpur, Gorakhpur” on the 30th , April 1987 as a primary level school; thereafter it got recognised for Junior High School level. Adjoining to this campus, the founder also established a girls’ inter college: G.V.P. Girls' Inter College, Mahuisugharpur, Gorakhpur in 2003 which fulfills the dream of thousands of girls for senior secondary level education nearby their homes.

Late R.A. Dubey, the father of Sri Shivanand Dubey (Manager), a visionary and pioneer in the field of education, laid the foundation for a transformative journey in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. His dedication and commitment to providing quality education led to the establishment of St. Xavier’s School, Azad Chowk, Rustampur, Gorakhpur, under the society “St. Xavier’s Shiksha Samiti, Mahuisugharpur, Gorakhpur” on April 30, 1987. What started as a primary level school soon gained recognition and evolved into a Junior High School, enriching the educational landscape of the region. Building upon this legacy, Late R.A. Dubey's son, Sri Shivanand Dubey, took the reins as Manager and continued the mission of educational empowerment. In 2003, adjacent to St. Xavier's School, he established G.V.P. Girls' Inter College, Mahuisugharpur, Gorakhpur. This institution became a beacon of hope for thousands of girls, offering senior secondary level education within reach of their homes. The commitment to excellence and holistic development led Sri Shivanand Dubey to further expand the educational footprint. In 2016, he laid the foundation of St. Xavier's School, Tal Nador, Cheriya Road, Mahaveer Chhapara, Gorakhpur. This institution, guided by modern educational practices, received recognition from Playway to VIII (English Medium) on November 20, 2018.
